Search Engine Scams

Don't
be fooled by search engine scams and optimization services promising to
"register" you with zillions of places.
You need to know the differences between
submit,
register and
optimization.
If the major players like Yahoo! and Google get the majority of traffic,
where are you going to be listed? What are these other places?
These search engine scams and ranking consultants may attempt to get you listed
with hundreds and thousands of so-called search engines and
directories. But do they succeed and if they do, will anyone go there to
find your web site?
They could care less how you rank (they never promise top positions) or
whether you've prepared your web site with optimization techniques.
Search engine optimization takes a little bit of effort; search engine scams offer lies. If you're pleased
with your web site traffic and rankings, you should save your money and
enjoy the view from the peak of your success.
But if you think you've got some climbing to do, choose a legitimate
service.
Don't be fooled by search engine scams.
